About Pernille

I graduated as a nurse in 2008 and worked for five years with children with cancer and their families at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen.

In 2013, I was hit by a car and suffered a severe concussion, which changed my life in every way for many years — and which I experienced as a lonely and sorrowful process. During my physical rehabilitation, I was introduced to Fascial Flow®, which gently helped me get back to life — and gave me a new way of being in the world.

I am currently working on regulating bodily states. My focus is on connective tissue and the nervous system, and the imprints that our physical traumas and emotional states leave on the body. In my experience, the structure of connective tissue and its connection to the body’s many other systems serve as a gateway to vitality and transformation. This is where we can access early bodily memories, connect with primal resources and movement patterns, and move toward healing trauma. It takes time, courage, vulnerability, and presence to listen inward—and for me, this is linked to a state of deep connection that I sense many people long for.

Professional Approach

In addition to being a nurse, I am a trained

– Advanced Fascial Flow® Guide and Practitioner at Jeanne Jensen (Den Levende Krop)
– Relational Biological Trauma Therapist at the School of Psychosomatics led by Ulla Rung Weeke.
– Advanced Training in Pre- and Perinatal Psychology at the Institute for Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.

I continue to delve into somatic trauma with a core group of experienced psychotherapists and psychologists, and I also receive supervision.

I also draw inspiration from other educators, practitioners, and researchers, including, among others, Mike Maher (System-Centered® Theory – SCT), Linda Thorborg (KMI), Elin Solheim (Fysio Flow), Thomas Myers (Anatomy Trains), Dr. Robert Schleip (Fascia Research Group), Mary Bond (Rolf Movement), and Bonnie Bainbridge (Body-Mind Centering).
